About Us
With the above saying in mind this website is run by me as an eye opener to many especially those in the field of education from the top to bottom and the so called leaders who lead our nation deciding the lives of the Sri Lankans.
I, Sinniah Ganeshamoorthy a retired Principal of 41 years of service, out of which 13 years is as teacher, 02 years as A D.E, 06 years as Divisional Director and the balance 20 years as principal of two great institutions namely CP/K/Malaimahal Contral College, Deltota and CP/Mt/Hindu National School, Matale. Out of the 13 years as a teacher, 5 years had been in Maldives as Teacher and Subject Co-Ordinator
The main reason for launching this website is the fact that although Sri Lanka as a Country has it’s well thought of and well set national educational goals._
thanks to the scholars working with our NIE and MOE._
sadly the implementation part of education is far from reaching these goals due to lack of direction.
Especially, the Supervision and Evaluation is not at all directed towards achieving these goals as they are fully results oriented. What is more saddening is that it is not even directed at the basic objective of the functioning of a school which is the physical, mental and intellectual development of a child as to produce good citizens for the country.
As such, the main purpose of this website is to create an awareness among the public and the country at large to awaken a general consensus in the country to put things right in the education sector as to guide the country in the right direction
